How to Start a Perfume Brand in Pakistan: Your First 100 Bottles
Share
Starting your own perfume brand can feel complicated. Which fragrance should you choose? Where do you find bottles and sprayers? And how much should you spend before you know what customers will buy?
A practical starting point is to plan a manageable first batch rather than commit to a large range.
At Matsal, wholesale supply starts at 100 units in 50 ml or 100 ml sizes. We supply ready-to-bottle EDP juice, bottles, sprayers and caps, with free guidance to help new founders choose a suitable combination.
This guide explains what to plan, what to budget for and what to ask before placing your first order.

How much money do you need to start?
There isn’t one fixed startup cost. Your budget depends on the fragrance, bottle size, components, packaging and how you plan to launch.
Build your estimate around these costs:
- Fragrance juice.
- Bottles, sprayers and caps.
- Labels and boxes, arranged separately.
- Filling supplies or labour.
- Product photography and marketing.
- Your online selling setup.
- Delivery materials and courier costs.
Keep your first-batch production budget separate from your launch budget. Having 100 bottles ready is one part of the process; presenting them well and reaching potential customers needs its own allowance.
For a relevant quotation, decide whether you want 50 ml or 100 ml bottles and whether you need juice only or bottles and components as well.
What does a 100-bottle batch involve?
Bottle size affects both your fragrance requirement and the price you can offer customers.
For 100 bottles, the nominal filling requirement is:
- 50 ml bottles: 5 litres of fragrance juice.
- 100 ml bottles: 10 litres of fragrance juice.
These quantities do not include an allowance for filling losses.
A 50 ml bottle may suit a lower entry price, while 100 ml offers a larger quantity per purchase. Neither guarantees a better margin. Compare the complete cost per bottle with your intended selling price before deciding.
At Matsal, juice-only orders also start at enough juice to fill 100 bottles of your selected size.
Fragrance oils or ready-to-bottle EDP?
These are different starting points.
Concentrated fragrance materials require appropriate formulation and preparation before they become a finished spray perfume. Buying the concentrate alone is not the same as buying a product ready for filling.
Ready-to-bottle EDP juice is intended for bottling without having to develop the blend yourself.
For founders who want to focus on their brand, packaging and customers, prepared EDP can simplify the production process. Always confirm with your supplier what is included and whether any further preparation is required.
Choose the fragrance for your customer
Before choosing a fragrance, think about who you want to sell to and when they would wear it.
Are you creating an everyday office fragrance, a fresh daytime option or a richer evening scent? What retail price would make sense for that customer?
A focused first launch can be easier to explain and promote than a large collection. Choose a clear direction, then build your product presentation around it.
Matsal offers free guidance to help you discuss fragrance options and components for your first batch.
Bottles and sprayers matter too
A bottle should do more than look attractive. Its sprayer, collar and cap need to work together properly.
Ask your supplier about component compatibility, leak testing and packing for dispatch. Matsal leak-tests its components and packs orders for delivery across Pakistan.
Before committing to labels or boxes, confirm your chosen bottle’s dimensions with your packaging supplier.
What does Matsal supply?
Matsal supplies EDP fragrance juice, 50 ml and 100 ml bottles, sprayers and caps, with a 100-unit starting minimum and free consultation.
Labels, box printing and a complete branded filling service are not part of this supply offer. Plan those separately so you understand the full cost and work involved before launching.
How to get started
You don’t need every branding decision finalised to begin a useful conversation. Start with your city, preferred bottle size, quantity, fragrance direction and the components you need.
